Overall Satisfaction with Insightly

We use Insightly for marketing, lead tracking, sales, and project management. This allows us to track customers from contact all the way through to installation of the final sale. All current opportunities are easy to find on one screen and I'm able to sort them using many different criteria. We are a security integrator with projects from $1,000 up to 1 million.
  • Sales tracking, everything associated with a particular account is right in the same place.
  • Opportunity organization, I can look at all of my current opportunities and sort them in a variety of ways.
  • My Gmail account is connected to Insightly and I'm able to send emails directly to accounts or opportunities as I'm writing them.
  • There could be some additional information added, specifically a place for the address in the opportunity's section.
  • I would like the reporting section to be little easy to use. Creating reports can be confusing.
  • The project section needs to be more robust. Some way to track daily service calls would be nice.

Insightly has helped us centralize our sales information and track our opportunities. I used Insightly at my last company for 3 years and really liked it, when I joined my current company they had access to the program but were not using it. I was able to teach our company how to use the system and gain all the benefits they were looking for.
I think Insightly is well suited for anyone in sales, specifically if you are managing a pipeline of multiple opportunities it really works great. I would say that it does not work great for daily service calls. For daily sales cycles it would not make sense. Tracking sales on a larger sales cycle would work best.
