Overall Satisfaction with Insightly

I personally use insightly and my company does not provide insightly as a CRM. I use insightly as my CRM to track my referral partners and client leads. The problem it addresses is the ability to stay organized and track business. The goal for me is to stay on top of all leads and to never skip a beat.

I have not achieved successful outcomes using insightly because it doesn't seem to be a good fit for the way I track my business. There are too many steps involved to track and take notes. If it was simplified and more efficient, then I would use the CRM more. I switched to a CRM that is geared more towards an Excel-like format that suits my needs.
I initially selected Insightly because it was referred to me. I then switched from only using insightly to using two CRM's. I really enjoy using Smartsheet because it is very easy to use. Also, Smartsheet is not the product for everyone, it just fits me because of how I like to operate. Insightly does a great job of integrating the CRM as a one stop shop and that feature I like a lot.
Insightly is well suited for business professionals like myself that need to track client activity and referral partner activity. It is appropriate when you work with several people and need to have all of your notes and contact information in one spot. It may not be as appropriate for professionals outside of sales. To me, there are easier systems to use when it comes down to tracking and completing tasks.
