Overall Satisfaction with Insightly

Insightly helps me keep track of outreach tasks and acts as a contacts repository. As soon as I meet a new contact, I enter those details into Insightly and create a task to follow up with that person. I work with people across the banking industry and keeping a diary of where you met a person and under what circumstances helps me perform better outreach.

  • Organization merge could be done side-by-side to help users determine what information is associated with which organization.

  • Task management system is the best value of the tool, allowing me to keep track of whom I am contacting and when.
  • Ability to merge organizations (when there are duplicates) is helpful.
Overall, the platform is user-friendly at a decent price point (~$30 per month). It has strengths and weaknesses but serves a small company very well. There is always room for improvement, but it provides value to my organization. I would recommend it to anyone that needs a basic CRM for their organization.
When it comes to recording contacts and adding notes about where you met that person (and at what event, etc...), Insightly is very helpful. From there, being able to assign yourself or someone in your organization a follow-up task in order to continue the conversation has been very beneficial. As with any software, self-discipline is the key to extracting the most value from it. You get out what you put into it.

Insightly is great for an organization my size (1-10 employees). I rely on it weekly and for all of my outreach activities. It is most helpful when reaching out to new prospects. The outreach tracking component (where those prospects are in the sales pipeline) could be more refined/easier to use. Overall, it's a nice CRM that helps you get and stay organized.
