Overall Satisfaction with Intacct

We are a provider of outsourced accounting and business solutions to various companies in many different industries. Given we are an outsourced provider, the features and benefits of Intacct allow us to provide our customers with a scalable/easy accessible solution.

Pros

  • Cloud based, easy access 24/7/365 via the Internet
  • Easily customized for a variety of businesses/industries
  • Outstanding technical support

Cons

  • Continuous pursuit of the elimination of software bugs, a never ending need
  • Expand industry specific support groups
  • Additional external interfaces
  • Intacct is slowly becoming a valuable tool in our offering.
  • Easily sellable as a value add for the services we offer to our client over their existing accounting solution
We also use accounting platforms provided by QuickBook, Sage/Peachtree, Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains/Solomon/AX) and Net Suite. Our preferred solution is Intacct unless client has compelling reason (usually cost driven) to continue with their current solution.
Intacct is suitable depending on the business structure (becomes costly with multiple entitles) and expectations around customer utilization.
