Overall Satisfaction with Intel Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X540
We are currently using Intel Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X540 as our primary server NIC. These are part of our standard build of materials of all servers. They are stable and well supported network interface adapters.

We've used a number of different brands and keep coming back to Intel. We've had a number of stability issues with various Broadcom NICs usually starting after installing a firmware update. Intel provides a more stable platform, which is key for our business.
