Overall Satisfaction with Jama Connect

We use JAMA for requirements management. We required a database to manage the entire requirements lifecycle, from introduction to decommissioning. It is used mainly for security-related requirements. We have a dedicated team to work with the requirements and publish them using the Agile release management process.

  • Over 500 published and managed requirements.
  • Improved visibility of requirements.
  • Move from PDF with requirements to a database of requirements.
We wanted to manage the entire requirements lifecycle in a proper database, as previously, requirements were published in PDF documents. We were able to achieve this successfully.
We only tried PDF documents before, and I don't think I need to describe how bad it was. Now, we can filter, tag, and group requirements. Manage their lifecycle. Easily update with version control. This was not available with PDFs.

Overall it's a product you can easily grasp just by playing around with it, there are only a few small areas which need a bit of a deeper understanding.
