We are using their pre-recorded video interviews to screen candidates. One of the problems we were having earlier was trying to get down the number of applicants to our job to a manageable number was quite time-consuming. Calling candidates took time and there were often problems trying to get hold of them at the right time when they would be free to talk. Video interviews let us automate that process a little bit so that we weren't dependent on phone calls and scheduling issues. We invite the candidates we are interested into a pre-recorded video interview. They record a few short videos whenever they have some free time. And we watch them and decide which candidates are worth moving forward with. So it effectively reduced the number of candidates we would have to spend time on by a significant number.
