Use Cases and Deployment Scope

This is being used across our organization by all departments. It is being used for applicant tracking/job application and hiring processes.

Pros and Cons

User friendly.
Job postings reach internet job boards at no additional costs.
Quick responses to issues/questions/concerns from end-users.

Pre-built reports.
Candidate profiles and ability for candidates to sign up for job alerts.
No longer a "stream" on the main dashboard to provide an overview of everything occurring in all jobs. Now, we are required to go into each individual job for that stream. This is a change from the old system.

Return on Investment

Expanded outreach and exposure to our job postings, increasing candidate pool.
Ability for hiring managers to better manager their recruitment process.
Expand communication with applicants.

It is well suited for local government because of its affordability and overall accomplished our needs for applicant tracking and job application processes.

It is less appropriate or conducive to job seekers where in other systems, they can create candidate profiles and set themselves up to receive job alerts when the employer posts a position that aligns with their skill set, as well as have an account and make applying to jobs faster and easier.
