Overall Satisfaction with Progress Kendo UI

We have been using Kendo UI in order to improve our user experience and our development effort. Kendo UI is one of our tools that makes a great improvement in our processes.

Kendo UI is a powerful component library that allow us to focus on business logic instead of UI programming.
  • Performance is great and the components are lightweight.
  • The design is customizable with CSS is as easy as applying templates.
  • Price is so good.
  • Documentation should include a link for common user's requirements, not only their examples.
  • Kendo UI enables us to focus on business requirements, Kendo UI takes care of the user experience
  • Kendo UI is flexible and accepts changes.
  • Kendo UI reduces development time
We think that Kendo is a better option considering the cost/benefit relationship.

Is important for us to make a good balance between cost and benefit and Kendo UI provide this two goals, we gain in productivity and improve our users experience with little effort.

Kendo UI give us the opportunity to focus on our business logic insted of UI complexity.

May be Kendo UI can improve it's documentation, give more examples and use cases would be nice. However they have an excelent forum support.

It is important for us that learning curve be as lightweight as it can be. Kendo UI give us this without problems because each component is easy to use.
Usually, we don't have to contact support team in order to use Kendo UI, however we can see that in forum, anwer to kestions is relatively fast but some time we find questions that have not been answered yet.
Kendo UI is awesome for responsive web applications; we can use this in order to reduce programming effort and focus on functional requirements.

Kendo UI learning curve is lightweight, in a few days we can feel comfortable and we can reach more amazing user experience with a little effort. For our organization this is a key point.

Because those components are easy to use, hava a good performace and a low foot print in term of band width. Kendo UI is an ideal option for Angular integration that improve user experience. Theming is also as simple as including css files. default themes are awesome, in particular, material design is a good one implementation

For us performance and easy to use is one of the most important thing to take into account in order to make a purchase.
We will make an exhaustive comparition with other components based on those premises (in order of importance):
1. Performace
2. Learning curve (easy to use)
4. Overall foot print when deploy to production environment.
5. Documentation and support.
6. Service packs and security updates.
7. Price.

Consider a time for trial for each component that you plan to use.

Change management was minimal - the most important lesson is that we need to mesure learning curve in order to know the overall impact in terms of time over each project when we implement Kendo UI, mainly when we use a new component.
