Overall Satisfaction with Klaviyo
We use Klaviyo to keep in touch with our customer base. As a direct-to-consumer brand, we aim to always remain top of mind for when our customers are ready to make a purchase. This is especially important as we sell uniforms that are frequently replenished. Klaviyo allowed us to segment our customer base of 20,000 users to deliver the content they've opted into at the rate they requested while also integrating with our rewards program through Shopify to always let our customers know if they have a points balance. Email is our largest source of revenue, and we would not remain in business without a powerful tool for emailing (and now SMS as well).

Behavioral data provided by Klaviyo has helped identify who and how to target our customers. Being able to guess if a customer is at risk of churn vs. a bigger spender allows us to plan campaigns around retention vs. upsells. This helped us build a loyal customer base in a short amount of time.
Klaviyo has definitely helped a lot with customer retention. We have various types of customers, and each one needs to be communicated with differently. Klaviyo helped us identify customer behavior, so we wouldn't come across as spammy, keeping unsubscribe numbers down and ultimately retaining customers and potential customers in our sales funnel.
While Mailchimp was easy to use, Klaviyo allowed much more customization and flexibility. Klaviyo integrated with all of our apps through Shopify, so it was really a no-brainer when it came down to deciding. The ease of setting up a drip campaign and segmenting the customer base was the icing on the cake, but we were already going to go with Klaviyo.

Direct email is the lifeblood of a direct-to-consumer business and is also the most cost-effective. We were able to meet specific revenue goals by pushing out targeted emails to our best customers and new customers in a timely manner. This would not have been possible with our old email software.
