Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Klipfolio was implemented first at the sales department to show performance indicators and how the sales department performed at specific sectors and segments. Later the dashboards were also implemented in the manufacturing department to show how they performed and to create enthusiasm for the employees. Generally, Klipfolio helped us to be more data-driven and to visualize the data with nice graphics.

Alternatives Considered

Sisense, Domo and Microsoft Power BI

Klipfolio had by the far most user-friendly interface with the best visualization I found. The price was below average on the software I compared to when I first purchased Klipfolio back in 2018. Today I primarily use Microsoft Power BI, because it is part of the Microsoft family, but I would not hesitate to buy Klipfolio at another time again.

If you are experienced with Excel and building formulas you should be able to get going pretty fast with Klipfolio. The formula types are not exactly the same, but it's close. If you first understand how the Klipfolio formulas are working you can build some very nice visualizations. The documentation from Klipfolio or their very fast and friendly support should get you going soon!

Support Rating

I used the support a lot at the beginning and every time I contacted them using their chat function they were quick to respond to my questions and help me understand how to fix my problems and issues. The few times they were unavailable they responded by mail within 24 hours. I really appreciated the support and quality of it.

Likelihood to Recommend

Klipfolio is a really great software solution for small companies or even larger companies not using Microsoft or other tools. Klipfolio offers very nice visualizations and it's easy for most users that are experienced with Excel to set up the BI dashboards. If you are not skilled in Excel this could be difficult to get started with.
