Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4

Managing users is very easy within the console. If you have Active Directory you can sync your users with that and by doing so enable things like user phone numbers, managers, etc., to be kept up to date. These are useful for things like reporting to a manager if one of their users clicks on a bad test link, then the manager is made aware and can follow through ensuring the user completes any remedial training mandated after a slip up.
Our primary purpose in using KnowBe4 is to help train users on what to watch for when surfing the Internet, opening emails, answering text messages and phone calls. There is a very high degree of hackers/phishers gaining access into the company's network by fooling an end user into clicking on a 'bad' link, or allowing a script to run from an email which gives the bad guys a way in. KnowBe4 helps train the users to recognize the signs and stop them before a catastrophe starts.
  • Configurable training emails to mimic what the bad guys do in order to test user knowledge on how to recognize what's good and what's bad.
  • Videos by none other than Kevin Mitnic to teach how hackers can gain control of their devices and then how to protect the devices.
  • I find that KnowBe4 is very receptive to suggestions on improving the products and creating new applications - especially free ones for testing within the users' environments. I don't have any suggestions to improve what we already have. As a long time user there have been many improvements over the years, and all my 'issues' have been dealt with in a timely matter.
  • Our primary objective when first starting with KnowBe4 was after a user inadvertently clicked a link which opened our network and caused a couple days of panic. At that point we took very seriously the risks involved with Not training users, and since then our failure rate has dropped down to nothing.
  • Monthly phishing tests keep our users on their toes and they actually enjoy forwarding me the emails that they've 'caught' as being fake. This tells me that they are aware of the risks and how to spot them.
At the time we started with KnowBe4 there were not many choices out their (we've been using it for about 8 years). Since we've been happy with the success we've experienced, we have not looked at any of the competitors.
KnowBe4 checks in with me every month or so to ensure that there are no hiccups.
There have been a few times when I needed help with setting up remedial testing plans, and support was able to walk me through the steps required.
KnowBe4 support is superb should you ever require it!

Having fresh content continually being updated is good for the users as it helps keep heir interest up and they look for new lessons. There's nothing like stale material to dampen training, and KnowBe4 lives up to its claim of keeping content fresh.
It's good to see how many/how often a user may click on a bad link, but as far as reporting I'm really only concerned that everyone completes and passes their training. Users that do not finish are reported to their manager and the HR director for follow up action.
KnowBe4 training is helpful both in the work environment and at home. The lessons learned by taking the online training works across the board as the bad guys don't care where they attack you. Any business with at least one email address and an Internet feed should be training the user(s) on how to protect their company (and home network) as it only takes one breach to cause irreparable harm. It doesn't matter whether the user thinks they have nothing 'to hide' or not - why give hackers an easy way in where they can steal your passwords at the very least, and potentially take over your computer and get into your online banking etc.?
