Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

Unfortunately, I am not involved with handling user management, but I interact with the information security department enough that I haven't heard anything negative. It has all been positive.
We are using it across the enterprise for our information security training. The information security team, which is within IT, are the ones who brought it to our company to elevate the knowledge of all employees in regards to keeping our data safe, avoiding phishing campaigns, and other information security-related training and education.

Cons

  • I'm sure you have all the training companies need and that it's just our company not purchasing additional training, but it would be nice to educate the enterprise on regulations that affect them or could in the future like CCPA, GDPR, or industry-specific things like PCI, GLBA, etc.
  • I believe that we have mitigated overall risks with phishing simulations.
  • There is data that shows that as a company we do not click on as many simulated phishes than before.
  • I'm sure that there is also a correlation with increasing the amount of actual phishing being sent to IT.
I did not select KnowBe4 and am unsure of what has been used at my previous organizations. I remember working at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Services and having similar training that was more focused on PCI, GLBA, etc. Technology and training have changed since that time, but overall I know that KnowBe4 has a more modern user experience.
There have been specific email and video messages from our CEO about the importance of information security training and what it means to the company to really mitigate phishing risks at a time like this. HR also implemented a new policy that after an employee has clicked on simulated phishes repeatedly, even after specific training, then that could be grounds for firing the employee.

Yes

I believe there has been a great impact of having the training content of KnowBe4 on raising awareness across the enterprise. I can't speak to the access to different content publishers or how fresh the training content is, but from my perspective it seems that we have what we need to make a difference in our company.
I don't know if this comes from within the KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training platform or not, but our company keyes in on the number of employees that have clicked the simulated phish as well as how many employees reported the phish to IT. This is done for every simulation and is seen in a graph in PowerPoint in multiple locations.
KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training seems to be very educational and pretty efficient in terms of how much the user learns in the amount of time that it takes. Therefore, our use case of general education for the enterprise is a great use case, whereas maybe in a company that needs more specific training and maybe is smaller- they might choose something else.
