Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

KnowBe4 training has now been implemented by all our departments, divisions, and users across the city. We have rolled it out by slowly adding in each department to get a feel for how users would take to it. The training has been a success in all areas and all user technical levels.

  • Faster loading on slower connections
  • A lot less malware being scanned on the network
  • Much less time fixing broken machines
  • Keeping users moving through their email quickly
KnowBe4 training stacks up well against even Cisco's best products in this field. We have Cisco Ironport doing email filtering but unfortunately, the hackers still find ways to get messages through to users. Since that's the case we need this training to give a "human firewall" that stops malicious emails in their tracks!
I would I could say we've used support more but the product is so easy and seamless we've had very little to call them about. The initial setup was super simple and getting our users loaded was easy. We have used the knowledge base a bit but mostly for tweaks or adjustments in the phishing campaigns.

Having new things to review may seem daunting to most users but their tips emails are concise and useful. The training is easy to follow and short enough not to overwhelm. I would say having fresh content is key to keeping us informed. And having different publishers gives us a wider field of view in relation to email security.
It is handled easily with email/passwords that are managed in the cloud. We have very little to touch in this regard and users can easily reset or change their accounts on their own using just the company email. User upload was simple and straightforward, and that was most important to our admins.
The most important metric of any product having to do with training users is how the users are doing and learning. We have found that they learn quickly and pass most tests easily. Then the uptick in emails submitted to phish alerts goes way up and we know they are learning.
I would easily recommend this to others looking for a way to get users up to date on phishing schemes and hacker tricks. This really could be used anywhere as everyone has email now. I suppose if you block outside email then that would be the only time it wouldn't be useful.
