Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training
At the city, we have begun using this as a means to change how our users respond to phishing and other types of malicious emails. We have had a past experience of users clicking things that were meant to install viruses or phish user details from them. Right now we have implemented it for the entire organization.
Pros
- Nice and easy to use the web interface
- Simple instructions for all levels of user knowledge
- Sometimes entertaining to watch!
Cons
- More types of instructions for users
- Less password change friction
- More ways of reporting on users
- Lots of time saved for our end users
- Less time spent for our IT staff
- Saving money on more expensive training options

Big impact of keeping users updated on the latest and greatest. Having fresh content is integral to having smart users who will keep on the lookout for those types of messages. Also having different content publishers gives each video its own flair and gives you something to look forward to.
We don't have to do much in this area as its all taken care of in the cloud. I think this was probably the easiest part of the implementation step as it's all handled online. LDAP or SSO integration is nice if you need it but since the product lives online it was a simple user export and bam.
The best part of having users do training is seeing how they are growing. When you have a user who would have fallen for the easiest phishing move to higher levels and report on the very tough ones is a great feeling. When we need reports they're only a couple clicks away.
