Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training
We have implemented the Platinum version of KnowBe4 throughout the organization. We also are a managed service provider for local units and have rolled out security awareness training and active phishing campaigns for all of our local unit partners. The end-user is the weakest link in our security posture. We have been able to drop our percentage of link "clickers" by over 50% by utilizing the active phishing campaigns from KnowBe4. In the past we had users click on phishing email links that led to malware being installed on their PCs. The rate of infection has gone down dramatically since deploying KnowBe4.

- Rolled out the Phish Alert button for users to send potential malicious emails to PhishER
- Really can't think of any improvements at this time. Exceeds our expectations.
- Bolstering our security posture by discouraging users from clicking on links in emails.
- The time spent by technicians removing malware on users who clicked on nefarious links has gone down dramatically. Allowing the techs to focus on business and process improvements instead.
- Law enforcement and courts are now able to use the KnowBe4 CJIS training as opposed to using the State Police's training platform. Allowing users to have the same experience when doing both security awareness training and CJIS training on the same familiar platform. Pulling reports for our auditors is much easier as well.
- SANS Advanced Cybersecurity Learning Platform and Security Mentor
We used a well-known solution for several years. Very antiquated and did not offer active phishing campaigns that were automated and random. We looked at other platforms that just didn't have the wealth of training modules that KnowBe4 has. We know utilize KnowBe4 for our CJIS training compliance as well.

The impact has been profound in a government environment. Normally security is not something high on the priority for government organizations leading. If SA is implemented, It's normally addressed with a cheaper less effective solution to just "click the Box" for compliance purposes. The constant retooling of the phishing emails keeps our end-users on their toes and has become sort of a game amongst our users to NOT click on links and the subsequent need to take the remedial training.
Our KnowBe4 admin has made our yearly training and phishing campaigns automated. Only because KnowBe4 has figured out workflow and automation. Onboarding of new employees is completely automated as well. KnowBe4 has really made the administration painless and very effective. We have also implemented PhishER and the management of that module is straight forward and we are also able to automate former manual tasks.
We utilize a lot of the dashboards and provide reports such as the Phish Prone, Risk Score, Training Status, and Security Awareness proficiency assessments to our departmental managers along with providing the stats to our executive team so that they understand the value of the platform and what benefits that the County as a whole receives from a quality security awareness platform.
