Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We utilize KnowBe4 across the entirety of departments that are able to see sensitive data. We run tests bi-monthly on these user groups in order to gather data to determine which areas we should focus our training on. So far, it has proven worthwhile. The users who happen to fail a simulated phishing campaign are the focus of the wealth of training materials.

Usability

With a slew of learning materials such as videos that aren't too cheesy, or the from the gamification of training, there is real value here. You can use a prefab template and just set a time for the material to go out and when it should be completed by. Very simple and clean UI.

Likelihood to Recommend

KnowBe4 is best suited in an environment, culture-wise, that is open to learning and open to change. That type of work culture will help make KnowBe4 shine and be utilized to its highest potential. However, even if there is a small focus on training, the sheer amount of products, whether they are videos, games, fact sheets, etc., will make it hard for someone who does not find any value out of it. The creation of simulated phishing campaigns is quick and very user-friendly, as well as implementing the phishing plugin that we utilize here.

Premium Support

We purchased premium support on the pretext that we could get everything setup quickly and easily. However, I am unsure if we got a package deal that included premium support with the diamond level of materials.

Exceptional Examples of KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training Support

I loved that when I was getting help setting up templates I was given a very informational run down. What branded vs unbranded meant, how to change the mail from name in the test emails, what additional landing pages I could change, and whether or not I can then upload my own templates which really helped out in creating campaigns that are quite tough.
