Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

We started using this service just around the time COVID started and has been a great tool ever since. We were able to provide more awareness training for users on a semi-monthly basis for cybersecurity and tips on working remotely. KnowB4 allows our company team members to be trained on their own and for us admins, it keeps track of every user's progress for each training scheduled.
  • Constantly adding new training modules
  • Expires older non-relevant modules
  • Allows admins to pre-schedule trainings
  • Able to add users to single or multiple groups for training
  • Tracking of progress is great
  • Provides various types of user training
  • So far the system is great and very little to nothing to complain about
  • An Admin Phone App would be great
  • Editing some of the templates, may require a little bit code knowledge as GUI is not yet perfected and will not take some changes
  • This simply is just worth the money spent as our organization under the industry standard
  • We know which departments require higher training due to the results from our Phishing tests
  • KnowB4 offers the use of real life phishing attempts, removes all links and makes it safe for training.
Before we only did internal security awareness training, which was countless research, prepping a presentation, and practicing for the security meetings. This was just too time-consuming and not worth the time when you compare it to what KnowB4 offers you for the price. The system automatically adds new users to the training and sends out welcome, remind, past due, and completed emails to the users, for which I do not have to worry to be on top of the users.

Would you buy KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training again?

The impact has been great as they are always providing new and current event training for us. Real-world examples and training are a great way for our team members to understand and learn from. I am a firm believer that what you practice at home, you will do at work and vice versa.
Users are automatically synced with our Active Directory to a specific object folder and looking to add KNOWB4 to SSO with OKTA for better security. Once all users have been imported, I tag them with the specific group(s) that I want each person to be part of. This is for specific user type training. For example, All Employees, Executives, Customer Facing, Accounting, and so on.
The simulated phishing training is probably the most important metric that we care about. This is an inside look at how each of our team members treats their inboxes. Knowing if a user opened, clicked, scanned a QR code, Reported, or did not do any of those actions, helps us understand the types of training and specific points that we need to review during company meetings and or management meetings.
I have noticed that most users have become more vigilant when reviewing their emails and have started to report more and more spam/phishing emails. We also like to provide our team members with a semi-monthly amount of training that consists of about 15-30 minutes, working well. Also, those who do not complete the training in the established time start to receive emails daily to annoy the user to finish. Their manager/supervisor also gets a notification (this feature is optional and can manipulate to fit your organization's needs.)
I don't know of any scenarios where this product would be less appropriate, as it's online, and users can do the training from anywhere they like.
