Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Kofax Power PDF to convert documents to .pdf format. It does everything we need it to do and more, while being cost efficient. It provides fax confirmations and the ability to re-send. We are very satisfied with this program.

Pros and Cons

Ability to fill out .pdf documents.
Can edit .pdf documents.
Can copy and paste selected text into other documents.

Would like the ability to simply select and convert a selection of text without having to save it.

Definitely cost saving.
Saves time with the ability to revise documents.
Can convert a Word document to .pdf for security purposes.

Ease-of-Use

The platform is extremely user friendly and easy to use. It is cost-saving and efficient. I use it daily and have found it to be a great product and would recommend it to any small business or indivdual.

Adobe Acrobat DC, Flip PDF Pro for Mac and JotForm PDF Editor

Kofax Power PDF is clearly a superior product that is a cost-effective, efficient and a perfect substitute for Adobe Acrobat, the gold standard of PDF conversion software. Other PDF conversion software lacks the features Power PDF and Adobe provide. You get what you pay for and Kofax is definitely worth the money.

Support Rating

The customer support team for Kofax is outstanding. They are probably the best technical support I have ever encountered. They should do seminars on how to treat customers, use their knowledge and quickly solve problems.

Text editing features, converting text to Word, Bates stamping, adding page numbers to .pdf documents, using color, comments, convert large MB files to zip files, combine individual .jpg, Word, .tiff, .png and other format documents into one .pdf and all this has helped us get documents to our clients quickly and efficiently.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is an excellent and cost-effective alternative to Adobe Acrobat. It does pretty much everything Acrobat does without costing an arm and a leg.
