Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance)

I have been using PDF Pro for many years, first as Nuance, now as Kofax. I use it in my personal work and any consulting that I do. I have tried other software, but have never been satisfied with them.
  • Easy to create PDF documents from MS Word.
  • Easy to convert PDFs to MS Word or other applications.
  • Easy to convert PDFs to searchable documents.
  • Power PDF is inconsistent in selecting text boxes to edit text or to change the box properties. Sometimes takes many tries.
  • Power PDF saves me time and effort on most every occasion that I use it. Helps to reduce my stress level when under time constraints.
I recently purchased Ashampoo PDF Pro 2. It may manipulate PDFs, but is no good for creating a new PDF. Then the offer for Kofax Power PDF became available and I jumped at the chance to upgrade for a very reasonable cost. The cheap competitor will be removed from my system shortly.
Since the software works great for me, I have not had to seek customer support. I believe customer support will match the quality of the software.

Very powerful and for the most part easy to use. I use it to generate PDFs and email bulletins to a group of subscribers. I also do research and am able to convert or import several document and photo types into PDFs. Often need to add additional pages, photos, or other documents into an existing PDF.
