Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance)

I use Kofax Power PDF every day. I use this software as my primary means of creating and editing PDF documents. I frequently use the software to add notes or comments to engineering drawings.
  • Document assembly is very easy and intuitive.
  • Advanced comment tools are robust and reliable.
  • Creating PDF's from Word are fast and accurate.
  • I personally like the ability to edit comment font size, text box styles, and colors.
  • I really do love this product. I can't think of any areas of improvement.
  • Time savings.
  • Relatively cheap compared to more complex methods of plan review.
It is easy to use and very intuitive. It is the first software I have my IT staff add each time my computer is upgraded.
Kofax Power PDF has more features and is easier to use based on my experience. Although other staff members still use Adobe, I insist on Kofax for all of my machines.
I've frequently upgraded PC's over the past few years. After each upgrade I have easily navigated to a download page to reinstall my software.

Document assembly and editing is used daily.
For our engineering practice Kofax is perfect. We create tons of PDF's from Word and Excel files. We also edit and provide markups on PDF plan sheets. This software is easy to use and allows us to perform these critical tasks quickly.
