My Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance) Review
Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance)
Power PDF has been used in our organization as a PDF creation, viewing, and editing tool, and as an alternative to the Adobe product.
Currently it is used on two computers and is the preferred software for these tasks for myself, though may be used on other devices and by other users as the need arises. It fills the important niche of document creation.

Pros
- No software bloat and loads quickly.
- Many useful, powerful tools.
- No annual subscription.
Cons
- New limited number of downloads of software is puzzling and potentially problematic.
- Control layout/format different from Adobe product, making it unattractive to some in my company.
- Cost saving for sure.
- Loads quickly with little bloat.
- Not liked by some employees (it's just not Adobe).
Kofax Power PDF gets used many times per day. And I appreciate the ease of use. Every week, I have need to compile multiple PDFs into a single file, reduce the file size, and change/edit/add text into the document on the fly, and this does the job splendidly and with out problems. I probably don't use half the features, but performs quickly and smoothly and reliably.
Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance) is superior to Acrobat Reader in that it loads faster and it is a full service PDF editing and creation product.
I am unsure, though, how it compares to Adobe Sign; while I have accessed Sign to complete signing documents online through the Adobe network (I think), and I don't think it would play well in that situation. I have used it to sign documents in other instances though.

I use the program for document review and to mark up elements using the drawing and text generation tools. I enjoy the addition of tab view to the program, allowing me to have multiple versions. It is extremely valuable to my workflow.
