Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance)
Kofax Power PDF is used mainly by the supporting legal staff. The litigation dept. attorneys use it as well. It has been essential in keeping up with the numerous technical requirements of various courts. We have used it to compile documents with bookmarking, redact sensitive information, locate pertinent sections of voluminous records, and many other functions.
- Redaction - amazing search and redaction function.
- Combine - The ability to select numerous files of any format and create a single PDF.
- Search - It seems to have a hard time depending the font used.
- OCR - If the document is big, the whole screen will black out.
- Time Saving - there is a staff member that had her processing time literally cut in half.
- Cost Saving - Have you seen the dollar amount of Adobe?
It is very user friendly. The toolbar is clear and sectioned nicely for the functions. The bate stamping across more than one document was amazing. It's great how it will hook into other programs as well. It has its own tab in Word, Outlook, and more. Has made many tasks less daunting.

Ability to combine numerous documents in multiple formats and bookmark at the same time. Bate Stamping continuously across multiple documents at different times, can just pick up where you left off. Form creation from standard PDFs, no need to type it all over.
