Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance)
We handle patient contracts for each of our reservations. We print a copy to give to the customer and we save a PDF copy for the tablet. When we arrive to the delivery site, we have each customer sign the PDF copy. We combine different aspects of the contract into one file, such as the contract, credit card payment and any additional documents as needed. Kofax Power PDF is used by one department, but the entire company benefits from the features. It saves time by allowing [us] to combine documents into one file. This allows for our staff to locate one file and saves time for the customer from having to wait for multiple files to be opened and signed.

- Allows the ability to watermark document pages.
- I would like to be able to drag a file to a document already open and it insert the page. Right now I have to use the insert page which creates more steps.
- I thought there was supposed to be an option for customers to sign on my document, but I cannot seem to figure this feature out leaving me to have to use Adobe to sign the documents on the tablet.

This is definitely easy to use. Right click and the options that come up are what I need. There is one feature I have to figure out how to use, but other than that, everything else is easy to find and navigate through. I think this is one of the reasons I will stay with this software.
Sometimes things just fit and Kofax Power PDF was on of those things for me. When I started to use it, it felt natural. I was not stressing to Google everything I needed. Adobe charges a monthly fee for what I wanted and I am more inclined to use other products that allow me to own my software or work offline. I am very pleased with this over Adobe.

The most valuable tool for us would be the ability to combine PDF documents into one file. I want to figure out how to send a PDF to customers for them to sign, but is not a priority right now. I also love the typewriter feature. It's great not to have to print out to fill in.
