Overall Satisfaction with LinkedIn Jobs
LinkedIn Jobs is being used to advertise for in-house roles and responsibilities as well as for clients. We use LinkedIn jobs in conjunction with other infrastructure and integrations to have a smooth recruitment process for ourselves and external vendors. It is being used across the whole organization and reaches potential employees that our own job site would not always meet.
- Easy searching of potential candidates
- Shows an easy to understand history of recruitees
- Integrates well with our current implementations
- Recommendations for clients are often too general, e.g. Java developer will see Database jobs recommended
- Incomplete data is often listed in LinkedIn requiring external sites to be opened
- Applications aren't as easy as other dedicated job sites
- Easy filtering of Candidates based on skill and expertise
- Easy integration with existing infrastructure
- Ease of creating job positions
- Recruitment process has been reduced in time and effort massively
- The Pandemic has made online listings of jobs the only way to successfully recruit, and LinkedIn has been the primary way of receiving applications.
- However, we have to do a lot of filtering on applications as some candidates are not suited for the role, yet LinkedIn has recommended the job for them
LinkedIn has better integration with its existing social media platform, allowing for the recruiter to accurately view a client's history. Furthermore, it shows reviews and work done by the potential recruit. In contrast, ZipRecruiter does not show as much insight into a client which can lead to time wasted with phone calls and other communication.
