Overall Satisfaction with Linkedin Recruiter

Our entire organization uses LinkedIn Recruiter - our recruiting team and our sales team. We use it to recruit candidates for our client's open positions but we also use it to build lead lists on the sales side. We use it on the recruiting side to find passive candidates that aren't actively posting their resumes to job boards.
  • Allows us to have a very detailed search
  • Makes it easy to set up search alerts
  • The InMail templates make it very easy to quickly contact candidates
  • They need to add a search function that allows you to search by time zone due to all of the remote positions available now
  • They could include the option for candidates to list their work authorization (Citizen, Green Card, H1b, etc.)
  • Allow for more integration with ATS platforms
  • Great ROI - most of our placements come from LinkedIn Recruiter
  • A bit of a negative impact on our call metrics because phone numbers are not available on LinkedIn profiles
LinkedIn Recruiter is better than Dice because it has passive and active candidates. Dice only has candidates that are posting their resumes so those candidates are being contacted by tons of recruiters at once. Dice has become worse and worse in terms of the quality of candidates over the last several years as well.

We use LinkedIn Recruiter for every IT position that we recruit for. It's helpful to find passive and active candidates. If you need a very specific candidate, it's a great tool because it allows you to really hone in on specific details like degree, years of experience, job title, keywords, and more.
