Overall Satisfaction with Litmus
We have a fairly complicated mass email communication initiative. This includes custom-designed and built HTML. Litmus helps us test the front-end implementation of these emails so we know what problems may arise before our customers receive them. The scope of our mass communication campaigns is in the millions.
- We can see how the email looks when shown on very specific devices, screen sizes, and email clients
- The included HTML editor is really good for experimenting with fixes
- The way you test an email, by sending it to a customizable litmus email address, is easy and intuitive.
- The pricing model is a bit vague on what constitutes a single test
- Email builder could use some improvements like custom reusable components
- Maybe a plan with unlimited tests would be great for companies with a lot of custom emails
- Singlehandedly does what a while QA team would do. Saves us a ton of money.
- Gives us the ability to share test results
- A nice dev environment to text fixes
Being able to send a test email from sendgrid directly to Litmus has saved me cumulative hours
We don't use these metrics, as we already have dedicated infrastructure
Generating a shareable link has done wonders for our stakeholder's approval process. Comments have also streamlined everything, as also the comparison tool
Litmus has the better UI, and the better debug environment via it's HTML builder
