Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

After watching the short video they have on how to use it, I was able to just jump right in and start doing what I was instructed to use. There was little to no downtime in me learning what I had to do to get the assignment done. The video they have, while short, is very helpful and effective, especially if you're in a rush to get something done.
We use it for diagrams of the flow of our processes. It is just used by the Quality department. We use it for our procedures to help others understand the flow of our procedures and for our auditors to better understand how we address certain things, like customer complaints.

  • Adding the shapes to the flow chart.
  • Descriptive of what each box is and how it should be used.
  • Make it easier to create a draft chart into a PDF.
  • Improved audit time by having a detailed flow chart.
  • Saves time - much quicker than using Word.
  • Helps new employees see the flow of the procedures they are reading about.
It has helped our new employees better understand all of our procedures—sometimes people can get bogged with procedures so the charts help to provide clarity on them.

It is much easier to create a flow chart (the only thing we use it for) in Lucidchart than in Word. In past professions, I had to create a flow chart in Word and it was way too complicated and hard to make sure all the arrows were straight and the right boxes were selected.
