Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

Felt like I knew how to use and how everything is going to behave instinctively which is a rare in big apps today.
In my past, I've used different mind-maps programs and apps for personal and professional projects as well. The problem with all of them was the learning curve. I've noticed I'm using more time figuring how the programs worked instead of on the project itself, making me lose more focus instead of helping me sort through the mess which is my thoughts.
Recently, I've started a big project that going in blind made me lose a lot of different bugs and features in my logic that could have harm the project. My team lead instantly told me to use a mind map and as my luck would have it, my job uses Lucidchart.
The learning curve was INSTANT, felt like I've been using it for years, instinctively I knew how to create, edit and manipulate a working mind-chart that made everything more clear and helped me notice a few holes in my code that I wouldn't have noticed otherwise! Highly recommend.
  • Fast.
  • Fluid.
  • Instant learning curve.
  • Does exactly what you need it to do.
  • Sometimes when moving connecting things around it causes a mess, but different apps I've used handle it worst...
  • Planning.
  • Time saving.
  • Focus.
It was easy to share with my teammates and add it to my design docs through Google Docs, each update was also reflected in the doc without too much of a hassle.
Didn't occur any problems yet.

Do you think Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite's feature set?

Yes

Did Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite again?

Yes

Spent more time understanding how it works than actually working which sucked for me.
Also the performance felt lagging in comparison.
However, draw.io is free.
If someone is going to need a mind map or something that will help with code design, Lucidchart will be my first recommendation.
