Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

Lucidchart works intuitive if you worked with a similar application (or with PowerPoint) you are able to grasp Lucidchart quickly. Also the help function is good, with a good tutorial by subject. However to get the most out of this application it probably takes some time and a training module would be a nice add on.
Lucidchart is helping us to drive an understanding of the people and processes needed in the organization. It helps visualising the current state and the change which helps it easier to model the future state. As it is easy to model, it helps to modify when discussing with the teams and the individuals involved.

  • More options for org charts.
  • When exporting to JPEG the chart details are not clear.
  • Incorporating processes in org charts.
  • Positive - clear understanding of vision.
  • Positive - Setting overall business objectives.
  • Positive - time saved (set up done quickly).
So far we only integrated this application with Microsoft application. Especially PowerPoint, which in my opinion could be improved. Other integrations are not yet used, however this is important for this application. Also it would be helpful to bring this possible integration to the forefront and give examples how to integrate.

Overall Lucidchart is well suited for all organizational designs and processes, it is easy in its setting up and or the use of templates. Probably less suited if you want export the charts into other applications. Also combining other applications seem not well suited, however extra training would be needed to fully make use of Lucidchart.
