Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

It was very easy for me to pick up, but I have modified many different chart software before, so I knew how I wanted to build the chart already. It forced me to get a bit creative when putting role descriptions in the accountability chart, but otherwise I got it to look how I want. So a 10 overall.
We have used it to create workflow charts as well as accountability charts. It is mainly used by my department, but other departments have implemented its use as well.

Pros

  • Easy to use.
  • Very customizable.
  • Great templates with an amazing selection.

Cons

  • The Accountability charts have an auto layout, maybe make it a little easier to move the tiers around for spacing purposes.
  • Setting up better print areas, to break the chart across pages evenly.
  • Improved organization.
  • Shows us where we need to improve.
  • Time savings.
At this time we are not using the integration function, though we do look forwards to pairing it with Google Workspace in the near future.
Friendly staff, and you can find tutorials for any of your questions.

So much better functionality, and looks a lot cleaner.
For charting and getting organized, it is amazing, for other purposes, maybe not. We really enjoy using Lucidchart in my office, we tried lots of different software and this one was the most functional. I really do not have much negative to say about it, as it has done everything we have asked it to do, and more.
