Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart
Several departments use Lucidchart from time to time, though the most prominent user is our sales organization. We use it to plot out forecasting for the following year, team organization, current and proposed workflows. It's a great way to visualize processes and concepts at a high level.
Pros
- Ease of use
- Simplicity
- Ease of adoption for new users
Cons
- Every time you click a document, it takes a moment to open (only approx 2 seconds, but still can seem long)
- I've heard Whimsical is more aesthetically pleasing
- No other issues!
- Creates efficiencies
- Integrates well across teams
- Productive for onboarding new employees
We integrate Lucidchart with our Salesforce as well as our Slack, and it makes it easier to connect across teams and let colleagues know when things have been updated or need updating/ input. It creates time-saving efficiencies. I have not yet tried integrating with our GitHub, but I definitely plan to do so.

Yes
Did Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite live up to sales and marketing promises?
Yes
Did implementation of Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite go as expected?
Yes
Would you buy Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite again?
Yes
I prefer the functionality and user experience of Lucidchart over Miro. Lucidchart has more shape options and therefore makes it easier to showcase complex processes. In terms of design aesthetics, I have colleagues who prefer Whimsical. They have told me Whimsical is "prettier" and they enjoy using it for feature updates and roadmaps.
