Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart
As a Business Analyst, I personally use Lucidchart for creating workflows/swim lane diagrams, which represent the existing business processes that are being followed by our clients. This is an easy to use tool that helps me and my team quickly create the flow charts in no time. Also, our tech team uses this tool to create Entity relationship diagrams, which helps them in mapping out the flow of information.
Pros
- Drag and drop feature to quickly create flow charts
- Creating organizational charts
- Architectural diagrams
- Flexible sharing and collaboration options
Cons
- Having a Lucidchart desktop app would be an added advantage and would help in working offline and saving the progress in the local system.
- Adding an option to import or make own shapes which are not available.
- It would be great if MS Visio files can be imported.
- Increased team productivity
- Time-saving
From a functional team standpoint, integration with Atlassian/Salesforce helped me connect the requirements with proper workflows designed on Lucidchart. This helped my development teams to clearly understand and articulate the intended scope and requirements of the system that needs to be developed.
