Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

It was easy to use, except for the text feature. I wasn't sure how to add bullet points for example.
We use Lucidchart to design digital applications. We use this tool to create user flows that allow developers to know the content of a flow and understand what components to use before sending them a mockup design.
  • Easily connect points in a flow to create flowcharts.
  • Ability to create subtabs to separate different sections of an application.
  • Ability to share and edit with other team members.
  • It is difficult to make changes to the text (I am new to this tool and find it challenging).
  • Editing restrictions for non members make it difficult to share with clients.
  • Time savings, designers don't have to make a mockup of a flow if developers already have the flowchart, they can follow it by using existing components.
  • Improved productivity.
It is a fundamental part of the digital design process because it allows team members to create early flows that can help to clarify how the information will be presented before designing the UI.
I haven't had the time to search for help nor have seen a feature that walks me through this unless I disregarded it at the beginning when I just signed up.

  • Miro and MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
Miro is more of a whiteboarding and workshopping tool, whereas Lucidchart is a tool that can help to develop flow charts. Lucidchart already incorporates the flow chart language in its components.

Well suited for creating flowcharts that show the different pages that are needed to create an app. Less appropriate to visualize higher fidelity wireframes.
