Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

I really did not go too deep into the training portion of Lucidchart but instead jumped right in. I have to say it was really straightforward and easy to navigate after watching a couple minute video.
Lucidchart has made producing training materials more manageable than ever. Though there are many templates to choose from, my favorite way to utilize this site is by making my flowcharts, floorplans, and graphs using the many shapes given. Lucidchart allows you to save the figures you often use, so there is no need to search for them every time you start a new document. I am looking forward to using this application in the future!

Pros

  • Creating floor plans was made easy with this application due to the many shapes and icons available.
  • The ease of combing through all the templates makes this application quick and simple to use.
  • I find this app useful both at work and in my personal life.

Cons

  • I wish my saved shapes and icons were the first listed in the column without me dragging it there myself.
  • I find it difficult to maneuver an arrow to multiple boxes when using the flowcharts, specifically when doing a hierarchy chart.
  • Resizing icons and shapes can be frustrating when it automatically skips from one size to the next and does not vary between them.
  • Saved time
  • I got to stop looking for other applications

This application is very valuable to the company I work for, as it helps cut down on time, helps keep everything in one place, and gives many options.
I constantly receive emails about tutorials, tips, and tricks for using Lucidchart. This application has expanded the expectations of my work, as it makes my job a lot easier.

Lucidchart has a lot more options and variations to choose from. I do not feel like my finished documents look like most others I've seen used before.
Lucidchart is a great tool when creating any chart imaginable. I haven't used it to track numbers, but it seems to be very helpful with that as well. It is coming in handy as I write a training manual for the retail store I work for and am excited to utilize it more in the future.
