Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

It is pretty intuitive and there are a bunch of templates that can help you get started. I think the actual construction of chats and nimbleness to do so can take some getting used to.
Lucidchart is being used primarily to illustrate how to use systems and processes, particularly workflows and decision trees. Instead of relying on step-by-step notes, Lucidchart helps us easily visualize and understand the path of each process. This is especially helpful when there are new hires who are trying to learn the various programs and systems.
  • Flowcharts: Step by step processes are easy to lay out.
  • Swimlane Diagrams: This is incredibly helpful when there are processes that involve different teams.
  • Collaboration: Some of my coworkers are more proficient in the platform so it is clutch when you can share a doc and they can jump in to help work on a chart with you.
  • User Friendly: The platform is pretty easy to navigate
  • Navigation within a doc: I wish that there was a search bar within a chart like there is on Lucidchart's main page.
  • I would say the turnaround time for ramping up new hires has improved by 25% in time saved over the last 6 months.
My company uses Atlassian, Google, and Slack so the integration is very valuable to me when I'm using those products on a daily basis and can easily present and collaborate Lucidchart with my colleagues.
N/A - I haven't had to reach out for support yet so I can't grade it.

Do you think Lucidchart delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Lucidchart's feature set?

Yes

Did Lucidchart live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Lucidchart go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Lucidchart again?

Yes

I am a visual learner so having flowcharts in Lucidchart makes it really easy for me to understand complex processes, especially ones that involve different teams with different responsibilities and multiple decision trees. On the flip side, not all concepts and processes necessarily require a Lucidchart, especially if they are succinct.
