Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart
Right now I am experimenting with Lucidchart to help the research side of our service team. There are countless variables that we need to account for when answering any given question. Lucidchart has been the easiest tool I have ever used to help design that kind of flow. The UI is extremely intuitive, the chart is simple to work with and its collaborative function of it makes it simple to partner with colleagues to collaborate. I plan to create our department's first flowchart using this tool and present it to our seniors for broader implementation. We are in desperate need of built-out, clearly defined processes and I see this tool as the way of the future. I foresee that once they see the completed product, they will see the value in using this tool for more of our org. If you work in a process based firm, GET THIS TOOL! I'm paying out of my own pocket for it right now in a large org just to display the benefit, so it's only being used by myself at this time. It's worth my time and it will be worth yours.
Pros
- Creates visible process flow.
- Consolidates multiple variables.
Cons
- More predictive models to automatically populate shapes.
- Interpretive guessing algorithm. If you are making variables that already exist somewhere in your chart, it would be nice to have a suggestion to help condense your flow chart if it's too large and complicated.
- Time saving
- Improved accuracy
- Correct information relayed to customers first time.
