Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

Most of the UI is intuitive and there are maps to lots of other similar programs. There are a few areas of improvement (mostly related to presentation options, grouping of blocks/objects, layers) but very easy to just jump in.
We use it to map out our customer and communications journey, as well as strategize where we can be more effective. It serves both as a working tool and a communication tool between teams, deployed within our teams as necessary. The flowcharting tools are valuable and the UI is generally intuitive.
  • Connecting flowchart symbols
  • Variety and clarity of symbols
  • Layers to group related content
  • Layers could be more apparent for items which are grouped.
  • Allowing users without a Lucidchart account to still view content, even if not editing.
  • Enterprise licensing seems ambitious to allow data integration - we're only a subset of a specific team (assume 20 users but I don't manage the account), but such licensing would be inappropriate for such scale compared to the entreprise of 60k employees.
  • A 'background' layer which allows the ability to add graphical subtext of grouping info without actually interfering with moving the 'proper' symbols. Not sure if I'm describing that right but imagine how one would try to diagram a flow with different phases - the phase sections should not interfere with trying to select the flow chart sections.
  • In my current position and responsibilities, it's hard to quantify exactly what the benefits are. Perhaps lowering the amount of time to convey an idea/concept as the UI is above average for flow charting software.
We've not used too much integration yet. Google Drive integration is nice to keep track of related files but would be nicer if there was an easier way to get some simple data integration from Sheets back into a Lucidchart.
Have not had to use support sufficiently to have an opinion. Some searches have provided reasonable feedback and otherwise, UI is good enough to not warrant the need for support.

Lucidchart's UI is probably best I've come across but the others may have other features that are more appealing for given workflows/constraints/objectives. Some listed are not specifically for flow charts but can be used to display, albeit very inefficiently. Of those that are, for personal projects, I may use others due to trial constraints but would prefer Lucidchart if such projects were to commercialize.
Good for business flowcharts, strategy flow charts, logistics, collaboration, etc. Less appropriate for data science and such due to data input limitations/challenges. Above average for presentations and looks, especially compared to some other flow-chart tools, but certainly not designed for beautiful UI.
