Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

There were a couple of more specialized things I had to check for in their Help arena, but honestly, it's fairly intuitive and easy to use.
Lucidchart is used to creating flowcharts and diagrams for processes and planning. I do not represent the whole organization and cannot say how other departments use this product, but in HR it is used to streamline the process of documentation, user guidance, and project planning. Previously, we used Microsoft Word or PowerPoint for this, but the process was slow and often frustrating (why don't things just stay where you put them?!) and took longer than really made the effort worth it. Lucidchart speeds up the process immensely; quick, instinctive, and easy to manipulate and update. (Auto arrows between objects. Beautiful.)
  • Flowcharts and diagrams
  • Gantt charts
  • More adaptability with auto styles could be useful.
  • Easier to save custom shape formats.
  • Increased productivity
  • Time saving
Allows for a quick transfer of planning information, as well as collaborative discussion on plans.
Their Help feature seems pretty good, but a couple of things confused me a bit.

Well-suited: creating flowcharts and diagrams. Say, totally hypothetically, you've spent an hour and a half trying to get a flowchart on Word to be formatted exactly the way you want. Just imagine. Every time you move one thing, a dozen other text boxes and shapes fling themselves to the outer solar system of the document. Totally hypothetically, of course. Same flowchart, built in Lucidchart, took 15 minutes. Poorly suited: I'm honestly not sure. I use it for a handful of specific tasks and for those tasks it functions extremely well.
