Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

The drag and drop option was clear and easy to use. Understanding libraries of shapes was tough at first, which is the reason for the 9/10. I think it's simply because as a first-time user, I expected the different libraries to function like clip art and ended up searching for common shapes that weren't industry-specific.
Lucidchart has been an excellent tool for visualizing complicated concepts. We've used Lucidchart's flowchart tool with toggled layers to create dynamic troubleshooting documents that let users follow steps in a logical way, rather than simply reading off of a checklist.

  • Getting in and out of layers is somewhat clunky
  • We've improved productivity with the runbooks we pair with Lucidchart.
I haven't had a need to reach out, but I was impressed by the account manager who sought out some time with me to educate me on the platform.

Atlassian Confluence, Salesforce Lightning Platform (formerly Salesforce App Cloud), Google Sheets
Lucidchart is useful to provide high-level context around complicated ideas. If you need to write large amounts of text, you should pair something with a chart after.
