Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart
Prior to using Lucidchart, I had never used a similar software. There were many training courses offered in order to improve your competence, but the interface is so user-friendly and visual that it made it very straightforward to jump straight in and build my first diagram. Everything is available on a toolbar to the side, which aids your own creativity.
Lucidchart is used across my organisation for a range of tasks. Primarily I use it to document the flow of processes when creating guides for functions of software. The ability to update it constantly and for it to auto-update is ideal, considering I am often documenting software that changes incrementally and often.
- Range of templates
- Greater number of templates
- Greater number of keyboard shortcuts
- Ability to create junctions in arrows more easily
- Improved productivity
- Greater understanding
- Greater work relationships
- Improved communication
- Resource saving
This is one of the most invaluable functions of Lucidchart for my work. I use many Microsoft and Atlassian products in my current role, so knowing I have a Lucidchart in my arsenal for any work I wish to carry out on these platforms means I can save time having to learn a new software, whilst still creating such brilliant visual aids.
In the time I have been using Lucidchart, I have only heard good things from colleagues on a) their experiences with the platform and the functionality available, and b) the output I have been able to produce with it. Having confidence in such a software from across my workplace is great, because I know whenever I send one across, it will be received well.

The only similar product I have used for creating diagrams in Microsoft Excel, which although amazing, does not stack up to Lucidchart in terms of ease of use and instant usability. They serve often different purposes, but I would have no hesitation to use Lucidchart for creating visual diagrams as a first port of call.
When creating any type of diagram, be it the flow of a project, chain of command, communication channels etc., then Lucidchart is the perfect tool to use. Lucidchart has an endless number of customizable options when building diagrams, far beyond my own competence, meaning I know I will be able to create a coherent and valuable visual aid with Lucidchart as my project expands in size and complexity.
