Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart
I have been using Lucidchart to capture information used to capture existent processes, communicate about these processes, and plan optimizations. Lucidchart seemly integration with google cloud makes it easier for others to contribute and comment on the work. Designing diagrams is super easy with the right amount of building blocks at one disposal and with accelerators for the commonalty used blocks. The tool supports the work never getting in the way of what one wants to achieve.
- Pane with the shapes in use as an easy way to ensure your diagrams blocks are all the same.
- Arrow routing
- Automatically add new pages when you need more space.
- When adding many arrows that cross different elements it's not so easy to know what is connected to what.
- Improved communication by allowing easy to convene processes which translates in productivity increase, time savings, etc.
We use google integrations which makes it simpler to share a diagram, use it in presentations (although I've used a png because I wanted a snapshot of the work in progress), and get feedback from others. It's super easy to share a diagram from others to look at/contribute.
