Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

I think the UX is kludgy and hard to figure out without some trial and error. Customizing diagrams is a bit of a pain I feel.
We're using Lucidchart to build org charts and map out hiring needs as the company scales. It's used across the organization by function heads and by HR. It solves the problem of Powerpoint not being a terribly useful collaborative tool.
  • Snapping shapes to a grid and aligning them easily.
  • The UX is a little kludgy and hard to maneuver.
  • Reduced barriers to collaboration.
We did not use any such integrations.

PowerPoint has an easier interface in my opinion, but lacks the collaborative aspect.
Lucidchart is best suited for collaborative projects where the flows and diagrams are fairly homogenous and require little customization. I find that it is less appropriate for complex flows and diagrams requiring customization.
