Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

Lucidchart's biggest strength is how intuitive it is. During the review process, I was able to create my first network diagram based on a previous deployment very quickly. Within a day of using it, I feel I was able to competently use the product and all features available to me. This was the main reason we moved away from our previous diagram mapping solution.
After an extensive review, the whole department here now uses Lucidchart. Lucidchart has enabled me to create complex network diagrams in a quarter the time it took me with similar products. These diagrams are of a standard use to take to customers to propose new network solutions for their company.
  • Create custom objects
  • Intuitively connects objects
  • Layer management
  • Link external data to Lucidchart (this is currently an enterprise feature which would be nice to have but not justified to upgrade the licence for).
  • Time saved
  • Improved productivity
  • Added professionality to customer facing documents
I have yet to use this feature of Lucidchart but I expect to use the integrations to export diagrams to Office 365 documents.
I haven't needed to contact support yet so unable to comment. However, the resources I've found online have been very helpful.

Lucidchart was able to keep up with many of the features of other products whilst at a lower price point.
We create network designs for customers to provide a high-level proposal. These need to be turned around within a week and Lucidchart has really helped us create clear, professional diagrams that can be created in under an hour. However, adding data to the sheet isn't as intuitive so may not be as suitable for highly technical detailed diagrams.
