Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

This has been explained in a previous question in this form.
Lucidchart is being utilized across the organization. We are in the 401k industry and are creating a product that aims to enable all small businesses to provide workplace savings to their employees. Building this application requires a lot of effort with integrations to 3rd party vendors and data handling. Lucidchart has helped me outline my thought process with ease, whether it is to detail functionality of our product or the flow of data. The custom templates and strong customizability is immensely helpful.
  • Set defaults to elements such as text and color when creating flowcharts making it easy to work fast.
  • Ability to easily share and collaborate.
  • The custom themes are seriously fantastic. Well thought out and VERY helpful.
  • The quick access panel that tracks recently used objects.
  • I'd love a desktop application, even if it is exactly as the browser but packaged into a desktop app.
  • I am not sure if this feature exists, would need to explore further, but I'd like the ability to define my own "theme". By pre-saving certain colors, objects, fonts, swimlanes etc. that I know I will use extensively.
  • Improved Productivity
  • Improved Cross-Functional Interactions
Atlassian, Google and Slack are basically the only integrations I have used, and this has made collaboration and access to my Lucid documents an ease.
I have never needed support.

Yes

I did not select Lucid, it is what is offered in the organization I work for. I have used Visio and if I were to chose I'd probably go with Lucid as it is a lot more lightweight, easy to use, and enables me to get my work done quicker.
Lucidchart is well suited for Marketing, HR, Product Management, Project Management, AND developers. From my experience as a PM (project manager), if you cannot express your perspective in the form of a flowchart then you are not yet clear on your requirements. Lucidchart is less suited for large requirements. As an example attempting to detail a full application on a single sheet deceives the purpose of Lucidchart. It should be used to breakdown requirements which can then be used in sync to paint the larger picture rather than paint a single picture at once.
