It's a powerful diagramming tool that requires little effort to master.
Lucidchart's intelligent workflow technology makes it easy for us to create process flows for our customer care team's standard operating procedures, which are both easy to understand and visually appealing for our new hires, as well as existing employees. This saves time and gives us the ability to create procedures quickly, while still ensuring they are clear.

  • Download process flows in various formats based on user's needs.
  • Work with your projects anytime, anywhere - no need to worry about having to download bulky applications.
  • Bandwidth - when working with complex workflows spanning multiple shapes and layers, the page tends to slow down and sometimes crash.
  • Zooming in & out - when a workflow is spread out over multiple pages, the view can become small even with a large screen.
  • Pricing - newly introduced monthly/annual pricing schemes are not as good as previous quarterly payment models.

Microsoft's Visio offers more flexibility in creating process flows with a more stable desktop application for heavier projects. Nonetheless, Visio requires a lot of effort to learn and master vs. Lucidchart's easier-to-understand interface.
