Overall Satisfaction with Lucidspark
I am a Lucidchart user that was interested in the new Lucidspark offering. I used Lucidspark with my Operations team in brainstorming sessions to identify pain points and inefficiencies in the financial servicing of one of our products.
- Simultaneous collaboration in the spirit of Google docs but with better optionality for process design and visualization.
- Ease of sharing workproduct via link.
- Toggling views/ scrolling across the large end to end process diagram during live brainstorming sessions with multiple collaborators was easy but not intuitive.
- Note-taking within the document was available but not seamless switching between process diagram and notes.
- Increased effectiveness of large brainstorming sessions.
- Organized large group discussion, maintained focus on key problematic areas.
- Memorialized and documented key points raised and follow-up action items.
I have not taken advantage of any of these integrations thus far but would be interested in learning more.
High marks on quality and reliability. With vast user tools and features, I feel like I have only scratched the surface with our first successful working session. Our organization uses Google Suite so we have high expectations for collaborative working and Lucidspark (and Lucidchart) meet that high standard thus far. For similar such sessions, I prefer Lucidspark/chart to Google alternatives such as Jamboard.

Google Jamboard has good collaboration but very limited features.
Whimsical has a clunkier UI but is generally preferred by our product & engineering teams. Not quite sure why. Personally, I prefer Lucidspark/charts and find Whimsical to be lacking visually and intuitively on the UI.
