Overall Satisfaction with Lucidspark

I've used Lucid with multiple organizations with great results. Now that we're working in a fully remote world, having a tool like Lucidspark enables real-time collaboration with the same flexibility of a physical whiteboard. Additionally, Lucid enhances a team's ability to flex the creative muscle asynchronously. Lucidspark is a great tool.
  • Whiteboarding.
  • Capturing ideas.
  • Sharing brainstorming sessions between cross-functional teams.
  • I wish there was a native application.
  • Fewer meetings (async work).
  • More organization alignment.
  • Facilitating of remote work.
There's a bit of a learning curve at first for sure as there is with any of these tools. However, I do think there's an opportunity to think through the onboarding help for new users.
I've integrated with Slack. That integration is quite helpful to keep up to date with what changes are being made as well as leveraging other tools that we've also integrated into Slack during our collaboration sessions.
The overall performance is quite good. The only limiting factors I've experienced are the quality of the user's browser and internet connection. I do wish there was a native app to eliminate the browser variable. However, there's probably no way for the application to overcome various network connectivity issues.
I actually haven't had any reason to reach out.

Figma is slick but clearly has a strong design focus. Lucidspark has a bias toward function. We've found it to be considerably easier to collaborate with Lucidspark during early-stage ideation sessions.
Perfectly suited for any ideation session. However, from what I can tell it's purely browser-based. This means that a solid internet connection is pretty much required for any reasonable collaboration. Also, browsers can be finicky. Folks on the team need to make sure they have a decent modern browser for the best experience.
