Overall Satisfaction with Lucidspark

We tried LucidSpark on a trial basis to see how it stacks up against other competitors. It performed well, as far as the free trial goes. We were not prepared to unlock the "Pro" trial and unlock the various additional features like voting but we did enjoy the tool as far as drawing and collaborating go. The experience of sharing a drawing was seamless and it worked like a polished product. We did not end up adopting LucidSpark as our solution due to us being closely aligned and already having other products from a competitor, but if we were starting from scratch with implementing an online white-boarding solution then LucidSpark would certainly be a top contender.
  • Bug-free.
  • Intuitive.
  • Responsive.
  • Pricing.
  • Differentiation from competitors.
  • Helped make a decision for internal planning processes via brainstorming.
It's easy to get going but I subtracted points for having a fairly busy UI that's heavy on icons. It's sometimes unclear which button to click to get a specific feature of which there are many. Having text would certainly help in some places because certain concepts are hard to express in pictorial form, especially when the icons are greyscaled.
We did not use these integrations so it was of zero value for us. We just needed to use it for brainstorming purposes. The zoom integration seemed interesting but was only for the pro version so we did not try it. I don't believe there's any groundbreaking stuff here for Lucidspark.
So I think I already covered this in a previous field but definitely it helped - we used it for brainstorming for a small group (~5 people) and it was reliable and worked well for what we needed (e.g. sticky notes dragging). It was a positive experience and the real time aspect coupled with a zoom call was certainly very useful.
I did not use support at all.

Yes

Did implementation of Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite go as expected?

Would you buy Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite again?

No

Quick meetings where you need to draw something out with colleagues to explain how something works or do some planning is great with LucidSpark. Particularly, using the little sticky notes to brainstorm ideas and move them around between various states is fantastic. Long-living documents are less suitable. There is a difficulty in getting around once the document is larger and harder to navigate.
