Overall Satisfaction with Lucidspark

Lucidspark helps in the development of products by multiple cross-functional remote teams. It is being actively used by the Engineering department but is also being used to facilitate interactions with other departments. It is shared to contribute, provide feedback, etc. Lucidspark helps in various collaboration activities - facilitation of Scrum events, brainstorming sessions, and decision-making processes. It is especially useful as an efficient way of gathering people's ideas is the key.
  • Easy access via web browser - performs well and without any additional installation needed.
  • Useful built-in tools that support the facilitation process (Voting, TImer, Card Organizer, etc.)
  • Lots of use-full "ready-to-go" templates.
  • Easy sharing, printing, exporting options.
  • Tons of integration options.
  • Change-log management (Revision history) could be improved (clearness, ease of management).
  • Keyboard shortcuts customization.
  • Visual templates/skins to have a customized look & feel (interface) would be great.
  • Better meeting effectiveness.
  • Minimized admin effort.
  • Teams are encouraged to be more participative and engaged.
  • Avoiding information loss.
Interface is simple and pretty accessible but maybe more customizable toolbars would be a plus.
I give 6 as a neutral plus - I didn't have too much contact with the support team. I get contacts and offer to reach consultants if needed or to attend learning sessions. Help Centre, troubleshooting, and community are available but hard for me to say more as I haven't been forced to extensively look there.

Do you think Lucidspark delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Lucidspark's feature set?

Yes

Did Lucidspark live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Lucidspark go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Lucidspark again?

Yes

It was a management decision in our organisation I recently work to select Lucid (Lucidspark + Lucidchart). I have some experience with similar products in other organisations. Lucidspark is a pretty equal rival, considered as lightweight and easy to use with low entry-level. It offers good integration and good performance being a fully web-based tool.
I think Lucidspark is well suited for the facilitation of meetings where the visual collaboration of distributed remote teams with different operating systems is needed. It works well also with teams working in different time zones as allows to provide inputs in a continuous way when available. A scenario where Lucidspark seems to be less appropriate is when we want to make and playback a presentation of outcomes, especially to someone external with a very tidy and nicely designed form.
